I am an independent voter. I'm young, but more informed than my elders. I take time to do research, and I base my opinions off of facts, not other opinions. I'm not angst-ridden, I don't take my political stance in opposition to the President or my parents. I don't affiliate myself with a political party because I prefer to make my own decisions.

I'm a nationalist. I'm not anti-American, a punk, an anarchist, a communist or any other buzzword you can throw at me. I believe in America. I think we are the greatest country in the world. I think we have a unique position in world affairs, one which there is no historical precedent for. I believe strongly in the ideals this nation was founded on, and wish to preserve them because our Constitution and the legacy of our government is one of the greatest successes of the human race.

Unlike most people, I welcome challenges to my views. I want you to debate me. This being said, I don't want you to give me talking points or empty rhetoric (flaming) if you can't back it up with citations. I have no patience for people who choose to be ignorant. I'm disappointed in you, America, because you're not stupid. You're choosing to be under-, un-, or misinformed. But I won't let it stand. You won't get away with it here.

Don't attack me as a person either, there's no need for that unless it's something true. Like when I said you were ignorant.
